THE Lord's Timing...is PERFECT (Another Story)

"Lord? Matutuloy ba tlaga tong trip na to? Because this is going to be the only decent vacation that I will ever get for 2011 and won't you give this  one to me? Worked my ass off the entire year. Kaso, ilang beses nang na postpone. Bumaha pa sa Thailand. Problems with my friend's visa. Canceled Flights. Why? Matutuloy pa ba to? "

Okay, this was me. Months ago. Well a few weeks ago. Like most of us, I doubted and worried. And worried a lot.

I forgot that MY GOD...OUR GOD gives us only the RIGHT and the PERFECT timing for everything. I have forgotten the FACT that He Loves me. He has a covenant with me. He promised only great things for me. He has a plan for me and He will never let me go. Ugh..boooo to me.

Today, I realized not only how faithful He is to me and to all of us.

I realized that all the sloppy things that I thought had crashed into me is actually His way of saving me for a better moment and opportunity to take that much needed vacation. To top it all, He's made it so easy for me along the way and cleared my seemingly impossible schedule at work- but noting is impossible for Him. Right! I finally finally finished my 1-year old corporate paper for grad school. I'll be leaving with no more worries! Okay, kulang pa pala pocket money ko. :-)

PS: Lord, some more provisions won't hurt. Yes!  heheh!

To all who prayed with me. And helped me. For this trip to finally happen. Well, its about to. Can't wait for tomorrow! I can't wait to tell you about it soon! I can't wait to finally take photos.

Yay! Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam. Here I come!

So, today, I'll leave you with a constant reminder from this blog. For those of you who are waiting and praying for something. Trust and have faith in this.

Someday, it will be perfect. Because if  it's His will. It will be perfect.

Seasons

It has been a crazy, crazy week. Ugh..and that is the understatement of the year. Hahaha!

I have been juggling piles of office work, errands for good ole friends, my SCHOOOOOL PAPEEER which I have to finish, hard bind and submit two days from today and of course my INDOCHINA trip coming up which I cannot wait to post here!

Yay! Giddy! Giddy! But not that much yet! Not until I finish everything more important. :-)

Lately, Development Work has been crossing my mind. It has been, even years back. But my recent choices never really served the realization of that desire. So I resolved to consult the best adviser of life and beyond-- My Lord and Savior.

So, my season for discovery, waiting and discerning officially starts! And just as I am right now, all of us will come to a point in our lives when we start asking "What do we want to do with the gifts God gave us?", "Where must we go with our dreams?" and "Where will we be truly happy?"

Doing lots of introspection lately- which is good actually.

And I'll leave you with a line I read yesterday from Steve Jobs' commencement speech in Stanford he did years ago.

"You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."

PS

I've been doing Raja Yoga lately. The experience, so far, has been fun and liberating and reinforcing my faith. Okay, I haven't blogged about that (booo-hooo!). But I will in my next next posts. PROMISE!
