The best answers are always from above...

Sometimes when things happen to us (good or bad), our initial reaction when it strikes would be to ask, "why is this happening to me? did i deserve this?"

We are programmed to believe that everything that occurs, different circumstances are manufactured by a causal effect. Whether this theory applies to all or not is not a question to me. I have always believed, that there is such a thing as "grace" that overpowers these forces.

For weeks, it has been a confusing journey for me. I struggled, fought and over-analyzed things. Things that were happening to me at the moment. I asked a lot of questions, hesitated, doubted, played hopeful and lost it.

I am grateful for having with me friends (blessings) that never failed to remind me to always and especially during tough times, never forget and fail to seek for His wisdom. To pray for a discerning heart and mind. To pray that He reveal His plans. To know which path to take. To pray for guidance and strength. To pray for grace.

And true enough, today He gave me His answers. Brief and Clear.

I couldn't thank Him enough for saving me on this one (another one at that).

Jesus, you're the best.

Chewee's 2010 Favorite People

Today, i read a note carrying a dear friend's 2010 Favorite People. I couldn't thank her enough for including me on this list. It is both an honor and a pressure to be a better friend this year (hehe! kidding!).

To Cherry, thank you for everything. Your company reminds me of the Lord's faithfulness. Thank you for welcoming me to your family. For the debates i have always loved doing with you. For the friendship and the fellowship I shared with you, Ana and Meng among others. For understanding even when others refused to. For unselfishly sharing your life and dreams with me. My life has been less monochromatic with your company.

I look forward to the coming years with you with our promise to grow this wonderful gift of friendship. Cheers to more adventures and misadventures. And Yes, to Santorini with you! Let's go!

This post, is my way of honoring your post. (Next tym consult me with the photo ha! heheh! Joke lang!)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Special mention to my closest yet distant friend, Suey. God knows I really NEEDED your remote company all along. Thank God for sending me you. He knows I love you, really. I love how we oppose each other’s ideas, how we disagree over most things without being disagreeable. Thank you for ensuring me always that I’ll never be friendless. I still read your emails when I feel down and I’ll probably compile our conversations until I make a good book. I realized there are now two things we agree on: One, we both like tall, skin-headed, and grammatically-correct guys. Did I mention conversational too? And two, Boy Abunda sucks! Haha. So I say cheers to more arguments, more threats to squeal your secret, more teasing, more street food, girl bonding, more beaches and swimsuits, and more testimonies of God’s amazing touch in our lives. I know we will give away our extravagant love this 2011. So cheers to that as well! And Santorini too.

AHHHHHH....PRESSURE!!!

Tonight, as I write this, my tummy feels weird.  It has been almost a week since I started feeling this utterly odd sensation.

Haaay. January it is. Or should I say, JANUARY NAAAAAAAAAAAA!

For many, this month marks a beginning of a lot of things. New perspectives, resolutions, and a buffet of desired changes, among others.

For me and my MBA batch mates, this month heralds the deadline of THE (uppercase for emphasis!) most dreaded StratMan paper submissions and the MBA Comprehensive Review and Exams- our passport to finally spring toward that much awaited graduation (haaaay kelan ka pa magiging akin??).

These sound BIG right? Well it isn’t just that, for an MBA student, it’s pretty much a HUGE deal. It is the Make or Break- the culminating judge of all that demanding semesters at school. (As in, Major Major Raaj!!)

Anyway, today, I seem to have finally begun my pursuit towards finishing off a seemingly difficult and looong battle. Picture an ultimate juggle of a busy 1st quarter of corp comm toil next to putting up a taxing corporate paper out of scrap (well, at least for now)- and well, the more significant others.

So what now? Hayy!!! Good luck to me! As in Goodluck talaga!

Here’s to the coming frantic days, no more weekend mode and sleepless nights. PREEEESSSURE at STRESS, I will EAT YOU ALIVE!!! I PROMISE!

Hello reality!  S-T-U-D-Y time!! Sabado-Lib Nights! Cling to the Caffeine! Excited na ako!

God’s strength, wisdom and guidance will carry me through all of these. Yes, Lord!

Lezzgoww!

Happy New Year fellas! (wenk!wenk!buuuurp!)
